    Case scenario

Arnold is 67 years old and has had type 2 diabetes for the past eight years. He has a strong family history of diabetes (both parents and one sister) and, with a weight of 91 kg and a height of 1.82 m, is overweight (BMI, 27.5 kg/m2).
