Mapping cancer across Australia

Cancer levels across Australia have been mapped against measures such as geographical region and socioeconomic status for the first time by The Public Health Information Development Unit at Torrens University Australia. Findings include that the highest incidence of the major cancers occurs in Queensland, and that female breast cancer incidence is 20% lower in very remote areas.

The Atlas is available online.
