Endometriosis guideline: public consultation

Feedback is being sought on the draft Australian Clinical Practice Guideline for the Diagnosis and Management of Endometriosis. Developed by a multidisciplinary Australian expert working group and administered by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the guide­line provides evidence­-based recommendations to support the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis and adenomyosis. Feedback can be provided by complet­ing an online survey or by written submission; public consultation closes on 24 December 2020. Find out more at:

Diabetes-related amputations: new pathway tool

A new clinical pathway tool to help health professionals deliver care to reduce the number of diabetes ­related amputations has been developed by Diabetes Australia and the Australian Diabetes Society. Developed as part of the National Diabetes Services Scheme­ funded Foot Forward diabetes complications prevention program, the Integrated Diabetes Foot Care Pathway is a new tool providing nationally consis­tent guidance for health professionals to encourage early identification and treatment of foot problems for people with diabetes. According to Foot Forward, each year in Australia more than 4400 people have diabetes­-related amputa­tions, 85% of which could be prevented if detected and managed early. Read more at:
