Endometriosis guideline launched
An updated guideline providing the latest evidence to assist in the detection, diagnosis and management of endometriosis and adenomyosis have been published by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Australian Living Evidence Guideline: Endometriosis emphasises noninvasive diagnosis of endometriosis, with emerging evidence suggesting that a greater number of cases can be diagnosed with increasing accuracy using techniques such as transvaginal ultrasound and MRI.
