Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder guidelines

Australian Guidelines for the Assessment and Diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) have been developed to support practitioners in undertaking assessment and diagnosis of FASD across the lifespan. The NHMRC-approved guidelines were developed after a four-year research project led by The University of Queensland that involved understanding people’s lived experiences of the assessment process and reviewing more than 300 research papers.
