Anjana Radhakutty, Gary Wittert
Abstract

Low testosterone levels may be due to underlying disease or lifestyle factors and these need to be addressed before testosterone supplementation is considered.

Key Points

Over the past two decades, there has been a marked increase in the number of testosterone prescriptions in Australia.
