Call for bone health study participants
Researchers are asking GPs in the Sydney area to consider whether their patients would be interested in taking part in The ROLEX-DUO (ROmosozumab Loaded with EXercise-DUal effects on bone and muscle in Osteoporosis) study. The study’s aim is to determine how effective exercise plus medication is at improving bone and muscle strength in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis or osteopenia. Interested participants – postmenopausal women aged 50 to 80 years with osteoporosis or osteopenia and able to attend Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital – can find out more by contacting Dr Shejil Kumar by phone 0493 881 354 or email shejil.kumar@health.nsw.gov.au.
