A worker with recent confusion
As an experienced GP who has become part of the team in your local hospital’s emergency department, hospital staff often approach you for help – it is, you think, because they believe your extra expertise may help to solve a clinical problem.
So, it is no surprise to you when, one day, the manager of the cleaning staff approaches you to ask whether you could see a cleaner that another two of his staff are bringing in to the emergency department. Apparently, the patient is a long term employee and although a bit of a recluse, he has always been an exemplary and well liked worker.
